OPENING THE SCROLLS
SOME KEYS TO THE SCRIPTURES

Pastor Bobby Norton, New Life Christian Fellowship
All Scripture references are from the KJV
Words in bold, italicized and underlined type are made so for emphasis

It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter (Prov 25:2).

The following is not intended to be primarily a study of the Bible, but rather
a teaching on the use of some keys which I believe

Steve Hobbs dropped a phrase into my spirit this morning...
"This issue of the Christ". .That is exactly what the religious leaders of Israel had to grapple with after Jesus came on the scene! That is exactly what every person has

I’ve been around long enough to remember a time in the Deep South (and the not so deep as well) that men of different races couldn’t eat together at the same restaurant.  They couldn’t drink from the same fountain or use the same toilet. Their children couldn’t go to the same schools. The city bus was segregated: white in the front and

A DREAM GIVEN ROBBIE AUMAN

Instead of typing every small detail again I'll just condense the vision down to the basics and some of the meaning that I understand.

First let me mention that for at least 3 days prior I felt that I was sort of "on hold" with heaven for an incoming message. I felt like heaven's switchboard had called and said please stay on the line and be prepared

JUST A FEW QUESTIONS

I have heard from the days of my Christian youth that Jesus could come at any minute and carry us all to heaven.  And, when we are all safe and sound, every unbeliever that is left behind would be destroyed.  I have watched over time many of the faithful saints write a book and set the date for that event and then write another book resetting the date

NEWS HEADLINES:
I          David Mullins and Charlie Craig visited Masterpiece Cakeshop last year, with Craig’s mother, to order a cake for their upcoming wedding reception. Mullins and Craig planned to marry in Massachusetts and then celebrate with family and friends back home in Colorado. Masterpiece owner Jack Phillips informed them that because of his religious beliefs the store’s policy was to deny service

IN THE LIFE OF THE BELIEVER

INTRODUCTION

Act 2:37-42
37  Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart [convicted], and said unto
Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
38  Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in
the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of
the Holy Ghost.
39  For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that

JUST THE WAY IT IS: UNCOMMON THOUGHTS FROM A COMMON MAN
Ronnie Coleman
January 29 at 11:09pm ·
Love is something you can take advantage of....You can abuse it, if you so
desire...But you cannot defeat it! ...It will rise again...From the place where it
was left to die...From the pit of bitterness...Where it  was thrown...From it's
island of exile....If you ignore it...It will wait patiently until you need it...And then
wrap itself around you, like the warmth of.

Neither Do I Condemn Thee

Here are some of the youth of New Life presenting a short dramatic interpretation of John 8:1-11, about a woman caught in adultery whom the scribes and Pharisees desired to put to death. Jesus' words resound to us today: "Neither do I condemn you. Go and sin no more."

JUST THE WAY IT IS: UNCOMMON THOUGHTS FROM A COMMON MAN

Ronnie Coleman
I have a dog. So does my neighbor. My dog is old and lazy, his is young and
hyper. My dog is small, his is large. They happen to be different colors. Some
would prefer my dog, others would prefer his. But that preference is within us,
they are both the same without their skin. Think about it!!

Ronnie Coleman
I have come to realize that my dog and I have a lot in common. She can't get
off her bed and I can't get off the couch. She doesn't hear very well and neither
do I, although my wife says we both have selective hearing. She (the dog,
not the wife) doesen't like to be bothered at times. Me also! Sometimes she will
growl, although she doesen't mean it. Sometimes I like to growl and I do mean
it! We are both getting old and don't know if we should embrace it or ignore it.
At least she still has her hair! But, listen to this, she responds to unconditional
love and so do I, and so will you!

POLITICAL CHANGE

Does its political system determine America’s social climate or vise versa?  Which was first in our nation’s origin, our political system or our ancestors’ social climate?  History begs the latter, and thus was established a government “of the people, by the people, and for the people.”  As our nation has become more socially divided and selfishly segmented, our politicians have only reflected our national condition, for, if ours is a government of the people, by the people and for the people, then, as go the people, so goes the government.  In a word, the American political machine is actually a clear reflection of those it serves.  Political change?  Starts with change in “ME!”

JUST THE WAY IT IS: UNCOMMON THOUGHTS FROM A COMMON MAN

What has happened to my world? I walked there for a time. It does not seem
that long ago. Or that far away. All the people and the places..that made me who I am. They have vanished like a morning mist..
When the sun has warmed the ground. Yet they live on....somewhere deep
inside. All the people and the places. That sowed poetry...in my soul

There was a.man who found a.piece of wood
It was not particularly beautiful. Just a plain piece of wood. Some might say

1 Cor 9:24-27
24 Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.
25 And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.
26 I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:
27 But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

It is easier to pull over and park than to finish the race.  It is easier to surrender the battle
