MY FATHER’S SON

Problem: We are religiously taught as sons of men to be servants of God.  Biblically speaking, we should be taught and trained as born again sons of God called and anointed to be servants of men

There is a huge difference between the position and attitude of a servant and that of a son:

1/Servants’ quarters or house of the Father

2/Serve temporarily or abide eternally

3/Ordered to do or asked if you would

4/Believer’s choice: work unwittingly, unwillingly and unprofitably as a servant or learn, mature and inherit as a son

AS HE IS

As the Son of God He is the preexistent Son that was given (Isa 9:6).  He blessed us, chose us, predestinated us and accepted us in Himself before the foundation of the world (Eph 1:3-6)

As the Son of Man He is the Child that was born to us (Isa 9:6; Luke 2:11), grew to manhood under His earthly parents (Luke 2:42-52; Matt 1:20); Luke 3:23), was
