Act 2:37-41  Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? 

38  Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 

39  For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

 

40  And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation. 

41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. 

 1Co 3:9-15  For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.                                                                                                                                                                       10  According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. 

11  For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 

12  Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; 

13  Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. 

14  If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. 

15  If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. 

Co 5:10  For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. 

Every man “judged according to his works” as it appears in other scriptures:                                 Psa 62:12; Isa 3:10-11; Mat 16:27; Rom 2:5-10; 1Co 4:5; Gal 6:7-8; Eph 6:8; Col 3:24-25; Rev 2:23, Rev 20:12; Rev 20:13, Rev 22:12                                                       

 

Php 2:12  So then, my beloved, even as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling;
