A WORD FROM GUYANA

8th Jan, 2012

Dearest Pastor Bobby Norton,

New Year greetings in the precious name of the Alfa and Omega.  How are you and your family?  We pray you are all doing well through his grace.

Thanks so much for your letter dated Nov. 17th, 2011 and for the help you have sent for the work of the ministry that we are involved in here in Guyana.  Kindly say a big “Thank you” to the Brother who made the gift possible.  Indeed he is a man with a big heart.  We will never be able to thank him enough.

I’m happy to say that the month of Dec, 2011 brought much encouragement to us.  We were blessed to
watch over 100 people making their decision to follow Christ at Bartica and the villages in the interior.  They love the Lord and we are close to them to help them in their new walk with God.  We have given each one of them a Bible and other helpful Christian literature.

Also, many of the poor people and children that we fed during the Christmas season got saved and they are eager to follow Jesus.

The Lord helped me to minister four times last week in different areas.  I’m touched by the power of God.

Our crusade, which ended three days ago in Aliki, was good.  At least 29 folks became Christians.

Last week we built a paddling boat for an old Amerindian couple who live three miles across the Essequibo River.  They like the boat and they have started to use it to come to church.

During 2012 we have in mind to hold several evangelistic crusades at Bartica and some of the interior villages.  Our faith is that many will be saved.  Praise Him!

While my physical heart is not perfect as yet, the Lord helps me to continue to labour for him in His vineyard.  I am sorry that this privilege will be over for each of us.

Stay well dear friend and brother.  The Lord is with you.  Love to all.  Be good to yourself.  Bless you.

Pastor Mohamad Yasin
